I started Shade Nine because I craved something different—a salon that felt like home. Not just for me, but for clients and stylists alike. I had been behind the chair for years, perfecting my craft, building relationships, and falling more in love with this industry—but I always knew I wanted to create a space that felt more intentional. A place where clients felt seen, taken care of, and left with more than just good hair. Shade Nine is built on connection, community, and confidence. It’s where hairstylists grow into their fullest potential, and clients come to feel beautiful and understood. I’m passionate about helping women feel empowered—whether that’s through an incredible transformation in the chair or mentoring a new stylist through our apprenticeship program. This salon is my heart, my vision, and a reflection of everything I love about this industry.
